Do you want to teach Maths in a school where ambition, creativity and collaboration are genuinely encouraged? Are you looking for a department where new ideas are welcomed, resources are strong, and students are motivated to succeed?
We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Oxfordshire. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a department that is central to the school’s success and to inspire students who are eager to challenge themselves in the subject.
About the School:
This is a school where teachers are trusted to teach, students are encouraged to aim high, and leadership is both supportive and visible. Staff describe the culture as “collaborative, not competitive” — meaning teamwork is prioritised, and successes are shared.
The Mathematics department is forward-thinking, with schemes of work that balance rigour with creativity. The team regularly shares resources, trial new approaches, and use technology effectively to enhance learning. Results in Maths are strong, and the subject is one of the most popular at GCSE and A-Level, with high numbers continuing to study it post-16.
What You’ll Enjoy:
A strong department where collaboration and innovation are the norm, not the exception.
Engaged learners who respond well to challenge and are keen to progress.
Room to grow — whether you’re early in your career or an experienced teacher, you’ll have access to bespoke CPD and clear career pathways.
Positive working culture where staff wellbeing is prioritised and your contributions are recognised.
Excellent facilities including modern classrooms, digital resources, and a supportive network of colleagues.
What We’re Looking For:
A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with a passion for Maths.
Someone who can bring energy, creativity and clarity to the classroom.
Experience teaching across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential).
A commitment to raising standards and inspiring confidence in every learner.
A team player who wants to contribute beyond the classroom.
