We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded secondary school in Taunton seeking a dedicated Biology Specialist Science Teacher to join their Science department on a full-time, permanent basis, starting ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity to teach across KS3 to KS5 within a school known for its supportive culture and commitment to excellent education.

About the Role:

  • Deliver high-quality Biology lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, inspiring students of all abilities

  • Foster a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and progress

  • Contribute actively to curriculum development and extra-curricular science activities

  • Maintain high standards of assessment, behaviour management, and pupil achievement

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Biology (ECTs warmly welcomed)

  • Strong experience teaching Biology at KS4 (GCSE) with the ability to deliver engaging lessons

  • Ideally, experience teaching Biology at A-Level (KS5)

  • Strong classroom management skills with a commitment to high expectations

  • A passion for science education and the development of every student

  • Excellent communication, planning, and organisational abilities
