About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Teaching Assistant (TA) to work closely with young pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is a temporary, long-term position with the potential for permanent employment for the right candidate. The successful TA will provide one-to-one support, demonstrating empathy, flexibility, and quick thinking.

Salary Range: £82 - £90 per day

Key Responsibilities

• Inspire and motivate pupils while supporting classroom staff
• Assist with classroom preparation and management
• Listen attentively to pupils to understand and assess their individual needs
• Apply differentiated approaches to support diverse learning requirements
• Demonstrate resilience and adaptability in a dynamic learning environment

Essential Experience and Skills

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with SEN pupils
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathy and patience when supporting pupils with additional needs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
