TeacherActive is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming 2-form entry Primary School in West Bromwich, who are seeking a Teaching Assistant to start in February 2026.
About the Role
This is a full-time, long-term position running for the rest of the academic year, providing 1:1 support to a KS1 pupil with Autism who is non-verbal. Consistency and continuity are vital for this child, making this a hugely rewarding role for someone committed to building strong, trusting relationships.

The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will Have:
Experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
The ability to take direction from the class teacher and support lesson delivery
A warm, patient, and positive approach
Strong relationship-building skills to help pupils feel safe, comfortable, and supported
A reliable and committed attitude
