Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

Pay Rate: £90 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with an outstanding Special Educational Needs school in Oldham, supporting young people with a wide range of needs including moderate and severe learning difficulties, autism, and communication challenges.
We’re seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join the team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be calm, patient and committed to helping every learner reach their full potential.
The ideal SEND Teaching Assistant will:
Have prior experience working in an SEND school or specialist provision
Be confident supporting pupils with complex needs, MLD, SLD, and non-verbal communication
Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience)
Have strong behaviour management skills and a nurturing, adaptable approach
Be proactive and work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
