TeacherActive is delighted to be working alongside a supportive and ambitious three-form entry primary school in Stoke Newington, who are seeking punctual and experienced Cover Teachers to support their teaching team.

As a Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons across the primary age range, ensuring continuity of learning and a positive classroom environment. You will be expected to manage behaviour effectively, follow school policies, and support pupils academically and socially throughout the school day.
The school offers a positive atmosphere, a supportive senior leadership team, and clear systems in place to support cover staff.
What you need:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Previous experience working in primary schools
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
Desired skills and qualities:
Confident and adaptable teaching style
Ability to quickly build rapport with pupils and staff
Organised and proactive approach to teaching
Strong communication skills
