Salary: £100 – £150 per day

TeacherActive are proud to be working with several secondary schools across Tameside, providing high-quality staff to support learning and ensure continuity for students. We are now recruiting an experienced Cover Supervisor to join our network on a full-time basis.

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into classrooms across a range of subjects, ensuring pupils stay engaged and productive during teacher absences. There’s no planning or marking involved — just your ability to communicate clearly, manage behaviour effectively, and keep learning moving forward.

The successful Cover Supervisor will:

• Have previous experience working in UK secondary schools (essential)

• Be available full time, Monday to Friday

• Be confident managing behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment

• Adapt quickly to different year groups and subjects
