We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic Criminology Teacher to join their thriving Social Sciences department from January 2026. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity, with the potential to become permanent for the right person.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons in Criminology across KS4 and KS5
Bring complex theories and case studies to life through discussion, debate, and real-world examples
Support students through coursework and exam preparation, encouraging independent learning
Foster a classroom environment that values curiosity, respect, and critical thinking
Collaborate with colleagues to develop exciting resources and lesson ideas
Inspire the next generation to think differently about society, justice, and the world they live in

What we’re looking for:
QTS or equivalent qualification (ECTs welcome)
Experience teaching Criminology, Sociology, or Psychology at KS4/KS5
Strong classroom management and a passion for inspiring young minds
A creative, flexible, and enthusiastic teaching style
