We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic Criminology Teacher to join their thriving Social Sciences department from January 2026. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity, with the potential to become permanent for the right person.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons in Criminology across KS4 and KS5

• Bring complex theories and case studies to life through discussion, debate, and real-world examples

• Support students through coursework and exam preparation, encouraging independent learning

• Foster a classroom environment that values curiosity, respect, and critical thinking

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop exciting resources and lesson ideas

• Inspire the next generation to think differently about society, justice, and the world they live in

What we’re looking for:

• QTS or equivalent qualification (ECTs welcome)

• Experience teaching Criminology, Sociology, or Psychology at KS4/KS5

• Strong classroom management and a passion for inspiring young minds

• A creative, flexible, and enthusiastic teaching style
