Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Lichfield, WS7
Pay: £130 – £180 per day (dependent on experience)
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English teacher to join a school based in Lichfield. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team on a long-term basis! For the right candidate, this role could go permanent.
The Role:
Deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Plan and adapt creative schemes of work that develop knowledge, skills, and critical thinking.
Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning for all students.
Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Humanities department.
What We’re Looking For:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
Ideally, completion of ECT (Early Career Teacher) induction.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching English.
Effective classroom management and communication skills.
Commitment to raising achievement and supporting the wider school community.
