TeacherActive is urgently seeking a KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive, inclusive primary school in central Bristol. This role is ideal for someone reliable, nurturing, and confident working with children across Years 3–6. About the Role:
As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you’ll:

• Support the class teacher with daily routines, activities, and lesson delivery

• Run small group interventions in reading, maths, and other subjects

• Provide targeted support to pupils who need an extra boost in confidence or guidance

• Encourage learning through discussion, visual resources, and practical activities

• Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, families, and staff

What We’re Looking For:

• Immediate or September availability

• A calm, consistent, and proactive approach to support

• Confidence supporting literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum subjects

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team

• Enhanced Child-Only DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

• Previous school or youth-based experience is desirable but not essential
