Nursery Practitioner – Braintree
Full-time | Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 6:00pm
Are you passionate about early years education and looking to join a supportive, forward-thinking nursery team? We are recruiting for a Nursery Practitioner to work in our Braintree setting, where you’ll play a key role in helping children learn, grow, and thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.
About the Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you’ll be part of an incredible team dedicated to delivering outstanding childcare. You’ll work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to create a positive and stimulating learning experience for children.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting the learning and development of children in line with the EYFS framework
Planning, preparing, and carrying out a range of fun and educational activities
Creating a safe, caring, and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, social, and emotional development of each child
Building strong, professional relationships with parents and carers to support each child’s individual needs
Maintaining accurate records of children’s progress and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed
Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting colleagues where needed
Requirements
Essential: One of the following qualifications:
Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner
Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner (Early Years Educator)
Level 3 Technical Certificate in Early Years Education
Previous experience in an early years setting is desirable
A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
A team-player with ambition to progress in your career
