Nursery Practitioner – Bishop’s Stortford
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm (shifts may vary)
Contract: Full-time
Are you passionate about early years education and looking to grow your career within a supportive, friendly nursery setting? We’re seeking a Nursery Practitioner to join our dedicated team in Bishop’s Stortford.
What we’re looking for:
You must hold one of the following:
Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner
Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner (Early Years Educator)
Level 3 Technical Certificate in Early Years Education
Previous experience in an early years setting is desirable but not essential.
A positive, caring and enthusiastic attitude.
Someone who is eager to be part of an incredible team and progress within their career.
Your role & responsibilities as a Nursery Practitioner:
Delivering high-quality care and education to children, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.
Supporting children’s learning and development through creative play, planned activities, and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Building strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Assisting with daily routines such as mealtimes, naptimes, and personal care.
Observing, recording, and assessing children’s progress, contributing to their individual learning plans.
Maintaining a clean, safe and stimulating environment both indoors and outdoors.
Working effectively as part of a team to support the nursery’s ethos and goals.
