Teaching Assistant – Reception (1:1 Support) | Quinton

TeacherActive are proud to be working with a welcoming two-form entry Primary School in Quinton who are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their Reception team.
In this full-time, long-term role, you’ll be providing 1:1 support for a Reception child with Autism who is non-verbal. The school values consistency and is looking for someone who can build a trusting relationship and provide stability for the entire academic year.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive, friendly, and experienced team who are passionate about inclusive education and helping every child reach their potential.
What the school is looking for:
Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
A patient, caring, and positive approach
The ability to follow direction from the class teacher and work collaboratively
Strong relationship-building skills to help pupils feel safe, comfortable, and confident
Reliability and commitment to providing consistent support
