TeacherActive is currently working in partnership with secondary schools across Keynsham who are seeking reliable, dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants for immediate start roles. These schools really value support staff who bring empathy, patience, and flexibility into the classroom – whether you're offering one-to-one support, working with small groups, or supporting the whole class alongside the teacher.

What we’re looking for in a SEND Teaching Assistant:
✨ Experience working with pupils with SEND in a UK secondary setting (KS3 and/or KS4)
✨ A nurturing, proactive, and adaptable attitude
✨ Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff
✨ Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, HLTA, or SEND-specific training) are a bonus, but not essential
