This fantastic Forest Hill school is looking for an enthusiastic and committed KS2 Teacher who is passionate about raising attainment and inspiring pupils to reach their full potential. You will play a key role in delivering engaging lessons, promoting a positive learning environment, and supporting pupils’ academic and personal development. You’ll work collaboratively with the year group team, support staff and leadership to ensure consistency, high expectations and strong outcomes for all learners.

The role will involve planning and delivering creative, well-structured lessons, assessing progress, and adapting teaching to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND, EAL and higher attainment. You will be expected to foster independence, resilience and a love of learning within the classroom.

The successful KS2 Teacher will have:

• QTS and experience teaching within Key Stage 2
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Ability to differentiate effectively to meet a range of learning needs
• A positive, consistent approach to behaviour management
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with pupils, staff and families
• A reflective and proactive approach to professional development
