The Role:
• Full class teaching responsibilities within EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (depending on experience and school need)
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEND and EAL learners
• Assessing, recording and reporting on pupil progress
• Establishing clear expectations for behaviour and learning
• Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
• Contributing to the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate Will:
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Be passionate about primary education and raising attainment
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
• Show a clear understanding of assessment for learning
• Have a solid knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• For ECTs – demonstrate a reflective approach and willingness to develop professionally
