We pride ourselves on working closely with our partner schools to provide reliable, high-quality teaching staff. Alongside this, we offer ongoing training and Career Progression Development opportunities, helping you build specialist experience and progress confidently in your teaching career.
This fantastic Forest Hill school is looking for a compassionate and skilled SEN Teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs to achieve their full potential. You will play a key role in delivering personalised learning, promoting inclusion, and supporting pupils’ academic, social and emotional development. You’ll work collaboratively with the SENDCo, support staff, therapists and leadership team to ensure consistent, high-quality provision for all learners.
The role will involve planning and delivering differentiated lessons, implementing EHCP targets, and adapting teaching strategies to meet a wide range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and global developmental delay. You will be expected to create a structured, nurturing environment that promotes independence, confidence and engagement in learning.
Whether you’re seeking a long-term placement or a permanent opportunity, our consultants work closely with a range of specialist provisions, ARPs and mainstream schools and are here to support you every step of the way.
The successful SEN Teacher will have:
• QTS and experience working with pupils with SEN in a primary or specialist setting
• Strong understanding of EHCPs and personalised learning strategies
• Confidence supporting pupils with needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH and communication difficulties
• A calm, consistent and nurturing approach to behaviour and emotional regulation
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with families and multi-agency professionals
• A reflective and proactive approach to professional development
In return, you can expect:
• A dedicated team of consultants available 24/7 to support you through our simple online onboarding process
• Guaranteed Payment Scheme (T&Cs apply)
• Access to CPD training and certificates as part of the My-Progression channel
• Market-leading rates of pay
• TeacherActive Referral Scheme – earn up to £100 when you refer a friend (T&Cs apply)
• Ongoing support, check-ins and career advice
Our staff are paid on a PAYE basis, meaning you can be confident that your TAX and National Insurance are handled correctly — with no hidden admin charges taken from your hard-earned pay.
