TeacherActive is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistants across Hereford and the wider Herefordshire area. You will be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, and communication difficulties, in both 1:1 and small‑group settings.
This role is perfect for someone who is patient, resilient, and committed to helping children achieve their full potential.
The Successful SEND Teaching Assistant Will Have:
- Experience supporting children with SEND and/or SEMH needs
- Strong behaviour‑management and de‑escalation skills
- A nurturing, calm and consistent approach
- Ability to adapt to the individual needs of each learner
- Clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection
