Year 6 Teacher (Part-Time – 2 Days per Week)

We are looking to appoint a motivated and committed Year 6 Teacher to join our team on a flexible, part-time basis for 2 days per week. This is an exciting opportunity to work within Upper Key Stage 2 and support pupils during this important stage of their primary education.

Position Details

• Role: Year 6 Class Teacher

• Contract: Part-time – 2 days per week

• Start Date: [ASAP ]

• Duration: [March/April - July 2026]

• Working Pattern: Flexible (to be agreed across 2 days)

About the Role

You will be responsible for teaching a Year 6 class across two days each week, working collaboratively with the class teacher and wider team to ensure continuity and high standards.

• Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum

• Some existing planning is in place however some planning will be required

• Marking and assessment responsibilities must be completed in line with school policy

• Support pupils in preparation for end-of-year expectations

• Contribute positively to the wider school community

✅ The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Have experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2 (Year 6 experience desirable)

• Be confident in delivering core subjects

• Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills

• Work effectively as part of a team to ensure consistency for pupils
