Job Title: Pupil Administrator
Salary: £15,944.50 per annum
Hours: 27.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 3:00pm, with 30-minute unpaid lunch break)
Contract: Term-time (39 weeks per year) 5.6 weeks paid holiday (including Bank Holidays)

About the Role
We are seeking an organised and proactive Pupil Administrator to join our team. This is a key role requiring excellent interpersonal and IT skills, as you will work closely with staff, students, parents/carers, Local Authorities, and external professionals.
You will play a vital role in supporting the SENCO/Pastoral Lead and ensuring all SEND administrative processes run efficiently, particularly around Annual Reviews and student records.
Key Responsibilities
Organise and prepare Annual Review meetings, including arranging Microsoft Teams meetings, sending invitations, preparing documentation, taking minutes, and following up on actions
Maintain accurate and up-to-date SEND student records and pupil folders
Complete administrative documentation for SEND reviews
Distribute information to staff, parents/carers, Local Authorities, and external agencies
Liaise with teaching staff, link schools, parents, and external stakeholders to gather relevant SEND information
Provide general administrative support, including reception cover and assisting the wider admin team
Act as second-line telephone support for reception
Support the SENCO/Pastoral Lead with additional duties as required
Essential Requirements
Qualification in Administration
Minimum Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including setting up and hosting Teams meetings
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with professionals and young people
Experience in minute taking
Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
High attention to detail
Ability to work effectively as part of a team with a positive attitude
Touch typing skills
Desirable
Experience working within an education setting
Knowledge and experience of the SEND framework and Annual Review process

Reporting to the SENCO/Pastoral Lead
