The college is looking to appoint an experienced Carpentry Technician on a long-term basis until the end of the academic year. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of carpentry and joinery courses, preparing materials and equipment, maintaining the workshop environment, and supervising lessons.

The role will be essential in ensuring that the carpentry workshop runs safely and efficiently, enabling students to develop the practical skills needed for a future career in the construction industry.

The successful Carpentry Technician will have:

- A Level 2 or Level 3 Diploma/NVQ in Carpentry and Joinery or a related construction qualification

- Relevant industry experience within carpentry, joinery, or the wider construction sector

- Knowledge of workshop machinery, tools, and materials used in carpentry training environments

- A good understanding of health and safety practices within a workshop setting

- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to support both staff and students
