We are working with a primary school in the Derby area that are looking for a compassionate and dedicated cleaner to join their team. You will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for students, staff, and visitors. The hours would be 3.15 to 6.15 Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal areas
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting surfaces
• Cleaning toilets and replenishing supplies
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely
• Reporting any maintenance or safety issues
• Following health and safety and hygiene standards at all times

The successful cleaner will have:

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Understanding of basic health and safety practices
