The ideal EYFS Teaching Assistant will be able to:

• Support the delivery of engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework
• Demonstrate previous experience working within an Early Years or primary school setting
• Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups of children
• Support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within a mainstream classroom
• Encourage early development in communication, language, literacy, and numeracy
• Promote positive behaviour and support children’s social and emotional development
• Adapt support strategies to meet the needs and abilities of all learners
• Build positive, professional relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
• Help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating early years environment
