This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire a love of literature and language across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for KS5 depending on experience.

The Role:
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons, helping students develop strong reading, writing, and analytical skills. You will play a key role in fostering a positive learning environment and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver creative and engaging English lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
• Support students in developing literacy, comprehension, and critical thinking skills
• Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND and EAL pupils
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a focused learning environment
• Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities
• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and promote student wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge across literature and language
• Effective classroom management skills
• A passion for inspiring young people through English
• A commitment to safeguarding and child protection
