TeacherActive is proud to be working with a rural secondary school in Monmouth. This setting is known for its high expectations around behaviour and academic success, alongside a friendly and supportive team of staff and pupils.

The school is looking to take on a Food Technician on a long-term basis starting ASAP. The successful Food Technician will support the delivery of Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring resources are prepared, maintaining a safe working environment, and assisting both staff and students during practical sessions.

The successful Food Technician will have:

• A relevant qualification or experience within Food Technology or a similar setting
• Previous experience working in a secondary school or educational environment
• Knowledge of health and safety within a food or classroom setting
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• A proactive and hands-on approach
• Excellent communication skills and a team-focused attitude
