Salary: £100 - £145 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEND school in South Gloucestershire, supporting pupils with Autism (ASD) and ADHD. The setting offers a supportive and inclusive environment with a strong focus on structure, consistency and helping pupils achieve both academically and socially.

The school is looking to take on a Higher Level Teaching Assistant on a full time, long term basis. The successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant will be supporting pupils across the setting, delivering pre-planned lessons, leading interventions, and working closely with teaching staff to support behaviour and learning outcomes.

The successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant will have:

• HLTA qualification or relevant Level 4 qualification (desirable)
• Experience working with children with SEND, particularly ASD and ADHD
• Confidence delivering lessons and leading small group interventions
• Strong behaviour management skills
• A patient, adaptable and proactive approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
