TeacherActive are excited to be working with a well-regarded Secondary School in Manchester, who are looking to appoint a Humanities Teacher (Geography/ History and/or R.E) on a long-term basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs to join a welcoming department and deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4.

The Role:

• Teach Humanities subjects (History, Geography, or RE) across KS3 and KS4
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
• Mark work and provide constructive feedback in line with school policy
• Maintain strong classroom behaviour and a positive learning environment
• Contribute to the wider school community and department development

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
• Experience teaching Humanities in a UK secondary school
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Humanities
• Excellent behaviour management skills
• A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach
