Are you an experienced KS1 Teacher looking for a maternity cover opportunity?
Do you have experience teaching Year 1 or Year 2 pupils and are confident in planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons?
Are you ready for a full-time teaching role with all the responsibilities of a classroom teacher, including planning and preparation?
TeacherActive is excited to be working with a Primary School in Stechford, who are looking for a dedicated KS1 Teacher to cover a maternity leave from June 2026 until January 2027. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher with KS1 experience to contribute to the development of young learners in a supportive and well-established school setting.
The successful KS1 Teacher will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality lessons, as well as taking on all the responsibilities that come with being a full-time teacher, including marking, assessments, and communicating with parents. You will work closely with a supportive team to ensure that every pupil receives the best start to their education.
The successful KS1 Teacher will have:
• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Proven experience teaching Year 1 or Year 2 pupils
• Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment procedures
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
