Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant (LSA)

Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary: £90 - £110 per day

The school uses this curriculum to nurture a calming environment where each young person is given the space, time, and care to grow. The setting prioritizes outdoor learning, allowing students to engage in hands-on activities that promote their emotional and social development.

We are looking for an LSA (Learning Support Assistant) to support students with Autism (ASD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), including those who are non-verbal. This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting students with ASD, MLD, SLD, and non-verbal communication needs
• A caring and patient approach to working with young people with SEND
• A passion for outdoor learning and using creative methods to engage students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the school team
• A willingness to work within a therapeutic setting and embrace the unique curriculum
• A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) is desirable but not essential
