About the Role
We are currently seeking a caring and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Assistant to join a range of welcoming early years settings in Basildon. This role is offered through a trusted education recruitment agency and provides an excellent opportunity to support young children during their crucial early stages of development.

You will play an important role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, play, and thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of engaging early years activities in line with the EYFS framework

• Promote children’s learning, development, and wellbeing through play-based learning

• Ensure a safe, secure, and inclusive environment for all children

• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

• Assist with daily routines, including meals, hygiene, and outdoor play

• Observe, monitor, and record children’s progress

Requirements

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification

• Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting

• Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework

• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
