TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming and well-resourced secondary school in Altrincham, who are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to deliver high-quality lessons and inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (potentially KS5 depending on experience).
The Role
Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
Plan, prepare and assess pupils’ work to support progress and attainment
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and track student progress using effective assessment strategies
Implement behaviour management strategies in line with school policy
Support pupils of varying abilities, including SEND and EAL learners
Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents and carers

Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools
Strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
A commitment to continuous professional development
