Music Teacher – Full Time | Chelmsford | Start April 13th
TeacherActive is working with a welcoming and well-resourced school in Chelmsford, currently seeking an enthusiastic and talented Music Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis starting 13th April.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a creative educator to inspire students and bring music to life across the curriculum.
The Role
Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Encourage creativity, performance, and musical expression in students
Lead or support extracurricular activities such as choirs, bands, or school productions
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Music in a secondary school setting
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Passion for music and the ability to inspire young people
Willingness to get involved in wider school life and performances
