Nursery Practitioners – Flexible Work – Manchester
TeacherActive is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Practitioners to work across a range of welcoming and supportive early years settings in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified Level 2 or Level 3 practitioners looking for flexible work to suit their availability.
The Role:
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will support the learning and development of children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), helping to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of EYFS activities that promote learning through play
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care
- Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
- Assist with daily routines, including feeding, changing, and playtime
- Observe and record children’s development in line with EYFS frameworks
- Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- A good understanding of the EYFS framework
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
