Key Stage 1 Teacher – Salford
TeacherActive is currently working with a friendly and supportive primary school in Salford who are looking to appoint a committed Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team after the Easter break.
This is an excellent opportunity for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers who are passionate about making a positive impact in a KS1 setting. The successful candidate will begin on a trial basis, with the opportunity to transition onto a permanent salaried position for the right person.
The Role:
- Full-time Key Stage 1 Teacher position
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS1 national curriculum
- Creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
- Supporting pupils’ early development in literacy and numeracy
- Assessing and tracking pupil progress effectively
- Working closely with colleagues, parents, and carers
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience or strong knowledge of Key Stage 1
- Demonstrate effective classroom management skills
- Have a solid understanding of phonics and early learning strategies
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Be enthusiastic about supporting pupils’ academic and personal growth
