Teaching Assistant Sheffield

Location: Sheffield (various sites: S8, S11, S2, S10, S5 and more )
Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time
Age Range: Various ages and needs across the different schools
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be supporting pupils with their learning, every day is different, and the role suits someone who is patient, adaptable, and motivated by making a positive impact.
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need school experience to be considered many of our most successful TAs come from backgrounds such as:
Care work
Support work with vulnerable people or young adults
Youth work or mentoring
Volunteering with children in crisis or
Supportive community roles
What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting pupils in lessons, helping them engage and feel confident
Encouraging independence and helping develop key life skills
Working closely with teachers, therapists and support staff to meet individual needs
Bringing enthusiasm and creativity to a variety of subjects, from core learning to practical and outdoor activities
Creating a positive, reassuring environment where every pupil feels valued

Able to stay calm and patient, even when things feel challenging
Someone who truly wants to make a meaningful difference every day
