TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school in Neath Port Talbot. The school provides a supportive and inclusive environment, with a strong focus on nurturing pupils within the Foundation Phase and supporting individual learning needs.

We are looking to recruit a Primary Teaching Assistant on a full time basis to provide one to one support within the Foundation Phase. The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will be expected to support a pupil with additional learning needs (ALN), assist with classroom activities, and help maintain a positive and structured learning environment.

The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience working within the Foundation Phase
• Experience providing one to one support
• Experience supporting pupils with ALN
• A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
