TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist provision within a mainstream primary school in Bridgend. The setting offers a supportive and nurturing environment, with a strong focus on meeting the individual needs of pupils with additional learning needs (ALN).

We are looking to recruit a Primary Teaching Assistant on a full time, temporary basis to provide one to one support within an SLD class. The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will support pupils with complex needs, assist with daily classroom activities, and help maintain a structured, safe and engaging learning environment.

The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience supporting pupils with severe learning difficulties (SLD)
• Experience providing one to one support
• Knowledge of ALN and additional support strategies
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach
