Residential Support worker

Here at TeacherActive, we are working closely with a children's home provider who are currently recruiting a residential support worker to work in a Children's home in the Newark area on a permanent basis.

The role:

• Supporting children who have experienced trauma in their life
• Requires staff who are patient, understanding, nurturing and able to provide a therapeutic approach
• 39hrs a week spread out over Monday-Sunday
• Rota based role, changing week by week
• Requires staff to be able to work through holidays

Essential:

• Experience in a children's home/residential setting/similar setting

Desirable:

• Able to do sleep in some days/weeks when needed
• Relevant qualifications in Residential/Health and social care etc
