Salary: £145 - £230 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist school in Clevedon that supports pupils with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Condition and Pathological Demand Avoidance. The school provides a structured, academically focused curriculum delivered through a therapeutic and relational approach, creating a calm and supportive environment where students can thrive.
The school is looking to appoint a Science Teacher on a full-time, long term basis with the opportunity to go permanent from September. The successful Science Teacher will deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across Key Stages, supporting students with a range of additional needs while using a relational and trauma-informed approach to promote both academic and emotional development.
The successful Science Teacher will have:
• QTS
• Experience teaching Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Experience supporting students with SEND, particularly ASD, ADHD or PDA
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A calm, patient and reflective teaching approach
• A commitment to delivering high-quality, structured learning
