TeacherActive is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Taunton to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher for a full-time, long-term position, with strong potential to become permanent.

The Role:

• Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
• Delivering engaging and challenging lessons across Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics (specialism welcomed)
• Planning, marking and assessing in line with school and departmental policies
• Monitoring pupil progress and supporting attainment
• Contributing positively to the wider school community

The Successful Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching Science within a secondary setting
• Be confident teaching KS3 and KS4 Science
• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Be committed to raising standards and ensuring excellent pupil progress
