SEMH Teacher – Full Time | Billericay | Start April 13th
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist provision in Billericay that supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We are currently recruiting for a passionate and resilient SEMH Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis starting 13th April.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine impact, supporting students who require a nurturing, structured and engaging learning environment.
The Role
Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to SEMH students
Build strong, positive relationships to support behaviour and emotional development
Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment
Work collaboratively with support staff, SENCOs, and external professionals
Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working with SEMH, SEND, or challenging behaviour
Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, patient approach
A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners
Ability to inspire, motivate and engage students
