Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Teaching Assistant, confident in providing one-to-one support to pupils with Special Educational Needs. This is a temporary, long-term position with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate. The successful applicant will demonstrate empathy, flexibility and a thoughtful approach to meeting individual pupil needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Motivate and support pupils while working collaboratively with teaching staff
- Assist with classroom preparation and daily organisation
- Listen attentively to pupils to understand and assess their individual needs
- Apply differentiated teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles
- Bring relevant experience from a similar role, which is essential
