TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school in Long Eaton. The school offers a supportive and inclusive environment, where staff work collaboratively to ensure all pupils are able to thrive both academically and socially.

The school is looking to take on a dedicated Year 5 1:1 Teaching Assistant on a long-term, part time basis, working Monday to Friday from 12:00pm to 3:30pm. The successful Teaching Assistant will be supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis, providing tailored support, encouraging engagement, and helping to manage behaviour in line with school policies.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a primary setting
• Experience supporting children on a 1:1 basis
• Strong behaviour management skills
• A patient and nurturing approach
• A ‘can-do’ attitude and strong communication skills
