TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEND school in Northallerton, supporting students with PMLD, ASD and complex needs. The school provides a nurturing and structured environment, focusing on personalised learning and promoting independence for every student.

The school is looking to take on a part time SEN Teaching Assistant on a supply basis starting ASAP. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will be working on a 1:1 basis with students who have complex needs, supporting their learning, personal care, and emotional development throughout the school day.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience
• Experience supporting children with PMLD, ASD and complex needs
• Experience working on a 1:1 basis within a SEND setting
• A patient, caring and resilient nature
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to support all aspects of care
