South East/ permanent / £150 - 250 per day

Job Purpose

We are seeking a dedicated, adaptable, and experienced Teacher to join our team. This post is not suitable for Early Careers Teachers.

The post holder will actively pursue the agreed aims of the school and Trust, maintaining an outstanding educational ethos, care for pupils, and respect for colleagues whilst undertaking all duties in a professional manner. There is an expectation all staff colleagues will secure a good or better education for all pupils and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning.


Key Tasks & Responsibilities

General Teaching Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students across different age groups and abilities
  • Plan and implement lessons in line with the National Teachers Standards
  • Comply with and uphold school policies, including safeguarding and behaviour management
  • Work collaboratively with fellow teachers, support staff, and external professionals to create an inclusive learning environment
  • Oversee and work alongside Teaching Assistants, volunteers, or support staff as required
  • Ensure that learning spaces are welcoming, stimulating, and well-organised
  • Engage in extracurricular activities, school events, and broader school life
  • Make effective use of planning, preparation, and assessment (PPA) time

Assessment and Student Development

  • Assess, monitor, and record student progress regularly
  • Provide feedback and implement strategies to support individual growth
  • Develop home-school links and communicate effectively with parents and guardians
  • Complete assessment records and reports for students as required

Collaboration and Professional Development

  • Act as a team player, contributing to the school’s ongoing development
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities
  • Support colleagues and share best practices to improve teaching and learning

General Responsibilities

  • Take active responsibility for personal continuous professional development
  • Maintain high standards of professional conduct, tact, and diplomacy
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding staff, pupil information, and Trust business
  • Act as an ambassador for the school and Trust within the local community
  • Undertake other reasonable tasks as requested by senior leadership
