TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist provision in Swindon that supports pupils with SEND, including SEMH, SLCN and Autism Spectrum Condition. The setting offers a calm and structured environment, focusing on building confidence, communication and independence alongside academic achievement.

The school is looking to appoint a SEND English Teacher on a full-time, long term basis, with part-time options considered. The successful SEND English Teacher will deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs while promoting both academic progress and social and emotional development.

The successful SEND English Teacher will have:
• QTS or equivalent (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching English to pupils with SEND
• Strong understanding of SEMH, ASC and communication needs
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• A calm, consistent and inclusive approach
• A passion for supporting pupil development and wellbeing
