Qualified SEND Teacher – Sheffield
Location: Sheffield
Pay: £140 – £260 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Part-time and Full-time opportunities available

TeacherActive is currently recruiting Qualified Teachers (QTS) to work in a range of specialist SEND settings across Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain diverse experience while making a meaningful impact on pupils with needs such as ASD, MLD, SLD, and ADHD.
About the Role
As a SEND Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Adapt your teaching to meet the individual needs of each pupil
- Support the academic, emotional, and social development of students
- Create a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment
- Work collaboratively with support staff and other professionals
This role offers variety, flexibility, and the chance to build valuable experience across different settings.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working within Special Educational Needs (SEND)
- A calm, patient, and caring approach
- Strong behaviour management skills
- A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Experience supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
