TeacherActive is proud to be working with a high-performing and inclusive Secondary School, who are looking to appoint a dedicated and qualified SENDCo for a September 2026 start.

As SENDCo, you will play a key role in leading and developing SEND provision across the school, supporting teachers, working closely with families, and ensuring that students with additional needs are fully supported to achieve their potential.
The Senior Leadership Team is highly supportive and dedicated to staff wellbeing, ensuring leaders and teachers feel valued and equipped to succeed from day one.
This is a long-term position with the potential to become permanent, starting in September 2026.
Schools are already interviewing and securing staff early for September roles, so early applications are strongly encouraged.
The successful SENDCo will have:
• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• A recognised SENDCo qualification
• Experience working within SEND provision in UK Secondary Schools
• Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
• A clear passion for inclusive education and supporting students with additional needs
