TeacherActive is proud to be working a range of secondary schools in the Northfleet area & surrounding towns; We are seeking enthusiastic Science Teachers for long-term or day-to-day cover, permanent opportunities are available after a period of temporary work. You’ll be joining a well-established, supportive agency, working in fantastic, well-resourced schools with specialist science laboratories and teaching students across Year 7 through to Year 11: Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

We are looking for Science Teacher's across any specialism. You will be working across both Key Stage 3 / KS3 & Key Stage 4 / KS4, including exam preparation for GCSEs, work is set by the Dept. unless you are working in a long-term capacity. You may initially cover short term absence or fulfill the role of a teacher who is absent longer term. The role will be paramount in helping students achieve expected results at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4; offering continuity for students when their usual teacher is absent. Many of these roles can lead to a longer term position and even a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

The successful Science Teacher will have:

- QTS with Science specialism (ECT’s are welcome to apply)

- Experience teaching Science up to Year 11 GCSE: Key Stage 4 / KS4

- Excellent classroom management & behaviour management strategies
