The ideal Primary Teaching Assistant will be able to:

• Support the delivery of engaging and well-structured lessons alongside the class teacher
• Demonstrate previous experience working within a primary school setting
• Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups of pupils
• Support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within a mainstream classroom
• Adapt support strategies to meet the needs and abilities of all pupils
• Promote positive behaviour and maintain high expectations for learning and progress
• Build positive, professional relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
• Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
